ScoutComms is a niche Washington D.C. area public relations consulting firm that focuses on the aerospace, defense, military and veterans affairs markets. We provide expert advice for organizations working in the unique military/veterans worlds. This could be major defense corporations to non-profits supporting veterans in need and everything in between.

The ScoutComms logo with the compass is our current logo. I would like to get away from the compass and italics for this next look. One problem we've had is that people never seem to understand ScoutComms is one word so it needs to be together in the new design and not split between lines or design elements. The Draft ScoutComms logo was done by a colleague with it incorporating design elements of the compass still and a spotting scope to imply our mission of helping clients navigate the tough terrain of the aerospace, defense and veterans markets. Its a little too obscure though it seems.
I am looking for something original. I'm not wedded to any color scheme really. I am a former Army Scout helicopter pilot so that idea of finding the opportunities and precisely targeting them is a key piece of our ethos. I want something that will look good as a Twitter icon as well as on a door. Feel free to throw out everything that has come before and start from scratch.
