Aaron Traffas Band
The Aaron Traffas Band is a regional act and one of the few in the midwest that plays alternative country music. Playing a solid mix of real, honest originals, the ATB captures a unique style of alternative country music. Blending the No Depression and Red Dirt scenes, the band produces an anti-establishment concoction sure to make you listen to the words of the story.
We play mostly original music, with several songs about combines and farming. We believe pop country music sucks, and try to distinguish ourselves by writing intelligent and clever songs.
Our audience is aged 16-50. We appeal to younger crowds because we play in bars in college towns. We appeal to middle-aged consumers because of our song content. Our target demographic is aged 18-35 and is involved in or is related to agriculture, hopefully big corporate agriculture, and lives in Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri or Arkansas. We'd like to expand into wider geography and develop followers outside of the agriculture demo.
We need a logo that will fit well with the new website at aarontraffasband.com. We need a vertical stack as well as a horizontal version to replace the current text at the top of the site. Incorporation of our website and our tagline - "Honest, original alternative country music" - is desired if possible, but needs to be dropped for inclusion where smallness is required.
We don't know what we want, exactly, other than something we can use for the website and merchandise.
