We're passionate about helping companies get maximum benefiti from their web applications -- whether they're geared towards employees, partners, or customers.
Businesses today depend on their web apps - they're running much of the company's critical functions and they need to stay up 24x7. Companies that are intent on being innovators know that they need to deliver new functionality to the market as quickly as possible.
Problem is, the process of deploying applications is getting more and more complicated and can cause new releases to be delayed or fail unexpectedly. Practically speaking, the deployment practices that many companies use today are a mess -- they're highly manual, error prone, and much of the information about how these applications get released resides in the heads of a few employees.
Enter AnovaStorm. We're taking all this chaos and unpredictability and bringing new order to the web deployment process. Anova = analysis of variance (constant releases across multiple applications creates a lot of change/variance); Storm = an intensifier, a surge of energy with the intent of winning (think "storming the castle" instead of thunderstorm). Our software brings a surge of automation and organization to this chaotic process so web applications can be deployed faster, more reliably, and with full traceability.

We're selling to companies (typically big ones) who have mission critical applications running on the web (think banks, insurance, travel, retail, healthcare - your favorite brands). Inside those companies, we're selling to the IT team who's responsible for web deployments. They're not necessarily geeks - they're professionals and pragmatists and they want solutions they can trust. As such, we want a logo that seems innovative, but still has a corporate feel.
We don't want the same old, boring, high-tech logo. Want to show innovation. A clever logo that I like at the moment is Jive Software (http://www.jivesoftware.com), but I'm sure there are a lot of other cool examples out there.
The "Anova" / variance part of things should show things coming together in some way -- order from chaos. The "Storm" part should show motion / movement of some kind.
Be careful to ensure there is adequate balance between the two words AnovaStorm. We don't want the Storm part of appear weather or subordinate.
No cheesy "storm takeoffs" such as lightning bolts, please. Been there, done that.
Color scheme is somewhat open at this point, although we'd like to have blue in the mix somewhere (corporate favorite).
