We are a early stage startup that loves creative, artistic people. I am one of the founders and the CEO, someone who has worked both in brand consulting and marketing positions. I love working to help aspiring creatives who are driven and motivated to get where they want to be.
The target audience for this site is aspiring, amateur photographers. These are people who have a love for the art of photography and are looking for a way to make it in a crowded photography market. These people have a keen eye for delving into the artistic and polished while still having a sense of being young at the art.
We are looking for a logo for our site, SnapItTo.Me.
The feel should be one that portrays professionalism but not a stiffness. It should be free, like artists are, but for the aspiring. One of the mottos we've considered are "inspiring the aspiring." This website will be both a place for photographers to come and become known but also get involved in a marketplace.
We are open to various creative iterations... so past what the logo is for, there are very little requirements. It can range from the consumer friendly logos such as twitter.com, weebly.com, skimble.com to the more formal such as zivity.com and photoshelter.com.
Other site logo inspiration to consider might be (but of course not limited to):
The logo will primarily be seen on a black background and therefore must stand out. That said, we will require version to be well suited for white backgrounds too (e.g., like on a business card.)
File Formats required:
.psd (layered), .ai, .jpg and .gif
You can reference the current corporate version of the site for this black background look - http://www.snapitto.me - but the site will ultimately look very different from this.
