We are developing a new community fitness program that targets Latino adults—we are calling it “Academia Fit”. However, it is more than a fitness program. It is also a center that will train and certify fitness instructors, who in turn agree to teach a number of free classes in the communities they live in. Members of the Academia (instructors and exercise class participants) will also be eligible to receive discounted goods and services related to health and fitness. We are non-profit.
Brand Name: “Academia Fit”
Tag line: “Creating a Culture of Fitness” (“Creando una Cultura de Fitness” in Spanish)
1. Men and women who want to get more exercise and become more physically fit
2. People wanting to lose weight
3. Group fitness instructors and personal trainers
4. Community organizations who promote health and fitness
Movement, dynamic, enjoyable/fun activity, healthy, balanced, empowered, energized, connected.
A logo that can stand on its own and become identifiable with the brand.
The style should be clean, elegant and mature but not boring. We do NOT want a very literal interpretation of exercise (i.e., no muscle men flexing in the logo), but we are looking for an image that conveys movement, a dynamic body, or an aspect of health or fitness that can be represented in an abstract way.
No more than 3 colors.
The logo should work equally well for print, web, embroidery & silk screening on apparel of all colors, signage etc. Please be original with design. No clipart or stock images.
At the minimum, the logo should contain one or more of the following:
• “Academia Fit”
• the tag line “Creating a Culture of Fitness” (“Creando una Cultura de Fitness” in Spanish)
If you include the tag line, feel free to use either English or Spanish. (But we will ask you to provide two versions--one English, one Spanish--if you win the competition).
We will need .jpeg, .eps, .ai, and .psd (layered) file formats.
GOOD LUCK DESIGNING!
