In 3D printing, the filament usually has the diameter of 1.75mm.
Our site, 175mm.io is a play on that. So as the name has a lot to do with the filament, perhaps it would be nice to incorporate those "strings" a little, like as if the entire text is connected? (Dont make it too "caligraphic" though)
In the 3D Print community, theres also the 3DBenchy, a little boat that is used as a test print. If you would like to add something to the logo, you could go for a boat (NOT just a random boat, look up "3Dbenchy" - it has to be recognizable)
Things to google for inspiration:
3d printing spool
3d printing filament
I'm very open to creative logos, theres just a few things they shouldnt be:
-If you go for a boat, it should still be somewhat recogniseable as the 3dbenchy.
The Logo should be more of a "long" format, not high. 1:1 is fine, but dont make it higher than that.
