Resource BanQ Group (RBG) is a fully integrated diversified investment holding company aiming to become a significant player in the world marketplace. It invests in all sectors of the market and consists of sub-conglomerates in:
1) Financial Services (MacQuarie, Wells Fargo)
2) Education (Think Education Group)
3) Marketing/Communications (WPP, Publicis)
4) Health (Prime Health Group)
5) Property Services (FKP)
6) Logistics, Outsourcing, R&D
7) Professional Services (Accenture)
Resource BanQ is the operational face that provides the portal to the resources of the RBG and integrates those services for the end customer.
Our philosophy is that we offer a banq-uet of resources, hence the name resource banq. Also we are aiming at putting a twist on bank, suggesting the future of what a bank may be.
The closest existing companies for RBG are probably GE or Tata. RBG’s uniqueness lay in its ability to add value to its subsidiary companies through integration of their products and services, while maintaining an entrepreneurial culture and independent-like structure to each company we invest in.
We aim to blend Virgin’s marketing, with Berkshire Hathaway’s discipline and drive it with GE’s focus on process-oriented outcomes.
Our primary target audience at this level is the owners of companies that we may wish to acquire or joint venture with. We need to project an image of size and trustworthiness.
Secondary audience are wholesale and retail investors, where often less is more as far as design elements.
Thirdly are prospective employees.
We need to be seen as the place to be for investing your money securely and to work for.
This logo is the first part of our branding process, so we will be looking for quality designs so we can allocate you further projects.
The logo is for the holding group Resource BanQ Group and the operating company Resource BanQ, and each of the sub-groups may also carry the RB in front of them, e.g. RBFinancial, RBEducation, RBHealth etc.
We have had issues with the recognition of the ‘q’ in Banq, with many mistaking it for a ‘g’, so that issue needs to be resolved in the design.
Attached is a design concept that we have used to explain how resource banq operates with multiple rings being the sub-groups with a external ring being the holding and an internal ring being the consulting group integration that touches each group. This continuous connection symbolised the ability of information/communication to flow throughout the group. This was an early concept and we are happy to see all designs, that may or may not include this concept.
The logo needs to be suitable to all mediums web, print, video etc.
We currently have not chosen a color palate.
The usual provision of formats and color variations please, including editable vector obviously, and color/black and white.
Obviously no copying others or existing logos and rebadging, we don’t expect you would, because it ends up being found anyway.
