I'm a guy in my late 30s who over the years has tried my hand at things that interest me. This can be from sport to growing veg to studying for an MBA etc (www.thefadman.com for more info). Now I'm training to do a half Ironman and want to create a story/brand around the training. I like to challenge myself to achieve new goals and learn more about myself along the way.
My background is in sales and marketing and run a couple of business units for a medium sized marketing consultancy.
I turn 40 in 2011 and want to undertake a number of challenges, not just sporting ones, during that year and raise money for charity.
I want the logo to appear on my blog and clothing, so please bear that in mind.

This is more from a branding perspective. However, as a logo it must appeal to a broadest group of people as possible.
You can be as creative as you like but please bear in the mind that it needs to be:
A desire for learning and knowledge
A need for new experiences
Work across different experiences not just sport, albeit happy for this one to focus on triathlon, but needs to be able to be adapted for the experiences.
The logo will need to appear across blog, clothing and printed material, therefore I am seeking:
