We are a small business development and PR firm designed to help physicians generate business and improve patient and doctor satisfaction. Most people only see the marketing that hospitals and doctors do in magazines or billboards; however, there is a lot of promotion that happens from a doctor that specializes in a medical specialty (i.e. Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, etc) to doctors who will send them business since insurance companies prohibit patients from walking into the office without a doctor's referral deeming the visit appropriate. Our firm's job is two fold, first to get business from doctors and second to make sure they and their patients are happy with the referral and scheduling process.
Now most doctor's offices cannot afford a full time person to market their services to other doctors - so this firm is set up almost like a time share or a co-op. We exclusively take on a number of different groups who do not compete for the same patients and spread our costs equally to all. For example, if they cannot afford a $70,000 a year position, they may opt to spend $5,000 to $10,000 to have a presence.
The business is not only about gaining business, but about creating value for the doctors and providing opportunities to network and to have someone to represent them in the community so they can do what they were trained to do and treat patients.
