a). Down to Earth Coffee and Tea House b) Heaven on Earth Life Balance and Wellbeing experts
I am a successful life and business coach who operates from the heart but also has her feet firmly planted on the ground. I'm a bit irreverent whilst also celebrating the beauty of people and nature.
My vision is of operating a business amalgamating two parts: a coffee and tea house and a coaching/healing centre. I love people, helping them succeed, and growing everyone, including myself to their potential. I have been coaching for about 10 years, and prior to that many moons ago was in hospitality.
I want to create a place where people can come and be nurtured and feel at home, accepted for who they are and feel cared about.
Mostly I want to create a environment which will be fun for staff and customers. We won't take ourselves too seriously! But it will be a seriously well-run business!
The ideal customer is female, well-off, employed or stay-at-home wife, a local, has friends who also like to meet for coffee/tea, likes novelty, likes to be uplifted, is into her health and wellbeing, and possibly does gym/yoga, wants to be lightly entertained, likes good service/to feel special.
Ideally she has unfulfilling work/life balance and wants solutions. The pain she feels is hidden because she’s trying to be superwoman.
This is actually for two related logos. They need to sit happily side by side so will need something in common.
The first logo is for a Coffee and Tea house that caters to a discerning crowd and offers coffee, home-branded, made-to-order teas and healthy food. 'Down to Earth' was the chosen name because I want it to be earthy and real. I don't want people thinking 'hippy' however so it can't look 'home-made'. It has to translate well into black and white so that I can stamp the logo onto paper bags/serviettes etc without requiring colour. Thoughts I've had include a leaf ...(please don't do a coffee bean- that's been done to death)...
The second part of the concept: a number of wellbeing services which will be marketed from the Coffee and Tea House and provided in nearby or adjacent premises, (ideally upstairs) eg life and business coaching, Chinese massage, meditation, Reiki, etc. There should be no religious symbology at all, but other sorts of symbols are fine.
Something that night be cute is a tree for Down to Earth with a bird on a branch for Heaven on Earth (though not a dove- too religious). I love the 'seasons' series at http://www.studiooat.com.au/product…s/seasons/
Even just the words with the right treatment would be fine.
Please do not use clipart or cartoons.
Good luck! I look forward to your designs.
