logo theme emphasis:
simple - politics (bills, legislators, amendments) can be complicated. we want to engage users to participate via a streamlined platform.
professional - we are doing our initial rollout to university and high school classrooms so teachers can, in addition to emphasizing the importance of participating in the political process, present students a simple interactive fun educational participation platform. professors can generate student political participation by creating a custom classroom group that their students join and that delivers the professor a weekly report spreadsheet of the quantity of voting, comments, comment ratings, and quality of comments submitted by each student and gives each student a grade. to get professor buy in into the site we need the site to convey legitimacy, professionalism.
technology, fresh - to really get the students and the younger less staunch demographic excited about the site and political participation we need the site to bring the new tech fresh digital feel/perspective to this ancient institution. this is something new and exciting, like many things of silicon valley, and will shake up and awaken politics to achieve progress today.
