This is the symbol of a family that played a central role in the political life of the island of Crete for 2 centuries (Greece). The patriarch of the family was the Secretary of the Revolution against the Ottomans and President of the First Cretan Parliament. It's a rare opportunity to get involved in a historical project.
The audience is anyone - but mostly other people familiar with the original crest.
The actual crest is attached. It represents a cretan dagger. Find out more about daggers here: http://www.cretanknife.com/thecretanknife.htm
It has to be as accurate and close to the original as possible, but in a way that facilitates use in stationary and print in general. It has to be as elegant as possible.
It will be applied to correspondence cards and calling cards
We will have a full name below the crest.
If the designer thinks it's possible, we could use metal colors in an elegant way (for example gold/black)
