Addrex, Inc. (DBA Addrex), is a new company which serves as a discreet and private broker exchange – a “second” market platform - for the sale of digital assets. Addrex is to digital assets, what Sotheby’s and Christie’s are to art auctions or what the NYSE is to stock trades.
When considering Addrex the brand (therefore the logo) should evoke feelings of:
• “hands on Concierge-like care”
• Rock solid
• Analogy: instead of walking into a busy Casino, the person is walking into an exclusive Auction House.
The Company is based in the Washington, D.C. region; considered the true birth place of the Internet, therefore the east coast epicenter of Internet technology and associated policy; and is backed by many of the Internet’s leading authorities on digital policy.
The Company is looking to have a logo design that is novel, distinguished, “fresh” (as in fully modern and progressive in nature) and subtle or minimalist (as in uncluttered).
The winning designer will have the opportunity (if s/he is interested) to design other collateral materials (business cards, stationary, website etc.).
The general audience of Addrex will consist primarily of Exchange Buyers and Exchange sellers.
The Exchange Buyers are the financial and technical decision makers (CEO’s, COO’s, CTO’s etc.) of global ISP’s, mobile providers, telecommunication companies, cable companies, governments and the companies that provide services and infrastructure to said companies.
The Exchange Sellers are global companies of all sizes and sectors that wish to have a private, discreet listing/auction of their digital assets.
The winning logo design should be novel, distinguished, “fresh” (as in fully modern and progressive in nature) and subtle or minimalist (as in uncluttered). The logo and fonts should appeal to a professional/executive and global audience.
The logo will appear on (paper and digital) business cards, stationary, contracts and website; thus should be crisp and legible in various sizes. Designing a small distinctive, related icon for use for iPhone applications, browser identification etc. would also be a bonus. The logo should be legible in color as well as black and white.
Please AVOID the following:
Shadows, gradients, lens flares, or other photoshop gimmicks
Logo templates, clip arts, stock designs
Cartoonish type designs
We look forward to your thoughtful and creative designs.
