LettingCheck
LettingCheck is a software application which runs on smart phones/devices such as the iPhone. It allows letting agents to carry out inventories which log all the items and their condition in a property.
The LettingCheck App allows them to do this quickly and easily. The inventory is then sent to an accompanying web app which holds a database of all completed inventories for printing/signing.
There are a number of other methods for carrying these inventories out but many of them are non technical (writing on a sheet or speaking into a dictaphone and then typing up) or use out dated technology. We require a brand logo which communicates that LettingCheck is a simple, powerful product from an innovative, contemporary online company.
Many other companies in this market have brands which are dull, dry, predictable, dated, homemade etc etc. Our branding will set us apart as fresh, simple and quick.
Our audience is made up of letting agents and inventory clerks. These are people for whom inventories are necessary but inconvenient. LettingCheck is their hero saving time, making them work smarter and look more professional.
No one likes doing this job but LettingCheck can make this chore much less painful.
We need a logo from which we will adopt the colour and style to form the overall product branding. We are not setting any constraints on colour palette except they should reflect our approach and the type of business we are: An online business delivering a fresh approach with simple, fast, awesome software.
The logo should include some kind of icon to represent the product rather than being purely type based. Unless you have an idea which visually represents the product with some clever use of typography.
We won’t dictate exactly what we want it to look like to give you some creative freedom.
The App title on the phone will be written as LettingCheck but we’re happy for logo purposes to see options written like this or as two words.
We’re trying to shake up the market and challenge some of the traditional thinking. It is a subscription service so a guideline would be brands such as the following.
(note these are more references for the type of business than references of logo preference)
