LOVE BOTSWANA OUTREACH MISSION
Love Botswana Outreach Mission
Is a 22 year old NGO founded by Jerry and Jana Lackey, and working in Botswana, Africa. It is a pioneering organization that establishes churches, and runs AIDS prevention programs, an international school, a children’s shelter and multiple social care projects.
Vision: Developing Christian leaders for Africa.
Mission Statement: As a ministry our mission shall be to inspire, build, and launch people through faith, integrity, relationships and excellence that will purify, transform and ignite individuals to impact the nations.
Personality: compassionate, faithful, pioneering, innovative and inspiring.
Key demographic is 35-65 affluent with discretionary funds.
Secondary demographic is 20-somethings looking to make a difference. Anyone who is a change agent, willing to do what it takes to make a difference in the lives of others.
We want a unique logo that evokes our personality: compassionate, faithful, pioneering, innovative, inspiring. This is key.
We also want a logo that says “Africa” without maps of Africa. Although we are a faith-based organization we want to stay away from overt Christian symbolism. (Read: no crosses, Bibles or worlds with dove wings.)
We love vintage looking logos, but with clean modern lines. Think Indiana Jones meets Apple Computer. We also love classic safari & travel posters of the 20’s and 30’s.
Colors should be African: deep reds, browns, oranges, ect...
