"Hawk Creek Church - A Place For Life" OR "Hawk Creek Church - A Baptist Community"
Hawk Creek Church is a family of believers determined to impact the world through Jesus Christ. Our desire is to cultivate an environment that is full of life with dynamic worship, relevant teaching, healthy friendships, and serving others.
We are located in London, Kentucky.
We are NOT a traditional church by any means. We are vibrant, bold, cutting-edge, so to speak. But, we are also simple and down to earth.
Since we are a church, obviously our target audience is all people. But, that doesn't help you much. So, let's say specifically our audience is probably more geared toward the younger-generation adult crowd. Most of our people are between the ages of 24 and 35.
We use a lot of media and technology in our services. We like to be current and relevant.
We want a logo that says "Hawk Creek Church" as the main brand, with a sub-title/tag-line of "A Baptist Community". We'd also like to see separate variations that say "A Place For Life" instead of "A Baptist Community" as we haven't decided completely which subtitle to go with yet.
Try and make sure the word "Creek" is just as much in the forefront of the design as "Hawk". Actually, Creek is more of a centerpiece than any of the other words. We like Creek being in Blue.
Please don't incorporate a hawk/bird in the emblem.
We would like to have something that would work with both a dark background or a light background. Please submit your design shown on both dark and light backgrounds. I say this because our new website will likely have a dark background (brown, grey, black, or dark blue).
As far as color scheme, we tend to favor bright blues above other colors. We like silver/greys and black as complementary colors to the blue.
We are giving the designer quite a bit of room to work with this. We just want to communicate the edgy aspect somewhat without being over the top, still keeping clean and simple.
The winning design should be delivered as a vector (Illustrator .ai preferred), with text as outlines. All fonts used should be specified by name. If the image is RGB, please include a CMYK version.
Our current logo is attached, for reference.
