Find My Pet
What I want designed
A logo for the (soon to be released) Find My Pet website; logoneeds to be bright, contain pets or pet related products and definitely NOT “cutesie”if you know what I mean.
Why I want it Designed
I really want a great logo here – the vast majority of petrelated websites are dated, have had limited or no professional design adopted andquite frankly are terrible to look at!
About Find My Pet
The Find My Pet will essentially provide listings for lostand found pets and also pets up for adoption (initially free). Visitors caneither place a listing or search for a listing, receive notifications whenfound pets match the profile of their lost pet etc.; later the site will expandthis service to listings of other pet related services. Website adopts the popular Web 2.0 featuresincluding a blog, commenting, sharing with social networks etc.
I am an interaction designer and business analyst currentlyworking freelance within the web industry in Australia (my sitewww.designclarity.com.au). Find My Petis a personal project that I am funding on my own.
Taglines likely to be used for the project are:
- “where lost pets are found”
- “reuniting lost pets with their owners”
- “the home of lost and found pets”
- “finding pets in Australia”Logos that I do like that are pet related include the logosof the following websites:
Prefer lower case type than upper case, but open tosuggestions. Logo is definitely not to be “cutesie” or cliché’; after a freshmodern approach as this is the approach of the Find My Pet service; having said that, it needs to be welcomingand appeal to all pet owners!
