YogaNatics is a soon-to-launch commerce and community site for yoga lovers. As our name suggests, we are yoga fanatics – in a good way! We believe in the underlying core values we learn through practicing yoga, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We are about having fun and living a powerful, happy life. We also want to share our passion with others.
From a commerce perspective, we will be selling high-quality, preferably sustainable products that we know work well because we use them ourselves. From a community perspective, we want to engage the passion for yoga of our customers. Blogs, reviews, and integration with social sites is just part of our strategy.
We are looking for a logo that combines a traditional yoga feel with a helping of fun, cool, and even a little rock star.
Though there is a larger percentage of women practicing yoga than men, we believe men are generally underserved in the marketplace. We will emphasize our men’s lines, but we generally expect our audience to be both men and women from 18-50 who are health conscious. These are people as passionate about yoga as we are whether they have been practicing for 20 years or 20 days.
We are looking for a logo that incorporates some type of image/icon in addition to our name. Either should stand on its own.
We want the logo to definitely have some traditional Indian/Buddhism/Sanskrit influence. We also want it to have fun feeling to it – as mentioned above, it should include some fun, coolness, and even a little rock star or tattoo artist. (Think what Mark Ecko did for fashion or how Moosejaw presents outdoor gear. Think yoga pants with flames up one leg.) This blend is what will set us apart and is critical.
Please, no cartoons, clipart, or stock images.
We haven’t fully decided on whether the “N” in our brand name should be capitalized. We’re leaning toward capitalization, but could be swayed away from this with the right design.
We have not established a specific color palette but we prefer muted colors to bright, primary colors. Would like to see the logo on both light and dark backgrounds.
Final design needs to be provided in a standard vector-based format, e.g. Illustrator.
