SpottedHere OR SpottedHere.com
We are a startup based website ( http://www.spottedhere.com ) out of Dallas that launched in December of 2008. Our website is a nightlife entertainment based website that provides information on Venues (Clubs, Bars, Concert Halls), Pictures, and Events for different cities.
Currently we focus on Dallas, but are currently in the process of expanding to other cities.
Before we do that we want to redesign the website more targeted to our content & user group, and want to focus our redesign efforts around a new logo.
The new website, will focus on user interaction & the social aspect of the website. We want our identity & logo to not be a directory/informative website/company but more of a community based place to see where you and your friends have been 'spotted' - with the secondary objective of finding out relevant information of a venue.
We currently get around 30k visitors a month and are growing at 4-5% each month, just for Dallas.
We have three user personas that we target:
1) Age: 17 - 25 / Nightlife Enthusiast. Individual that frequents nightclubs and bars in the city that the live in.
2) Age: 19 - 28 / Occasionally go out. Individual that goes out once a month and trying to find a place online that they would enjoy.
3) Age: 23 - 35 / Out of towner. Someone is going to another city and looking up popular venues, good strip clubs, etc. for the city they are visiting.
We want a modern identity that we can use both on print and digital spaces, that will quickly allow people to relate SpottedHere with a brand that specializes in nightlife entertainment with a focus on people being "Spotted" at different Venues.
We want the logo to be brand-able & reiterates the function of the website which allows users to interact with each other and information.
*EDIT* : Open to just a SH logo as well, there is no requirement for it to say SpottedHere - whatever allows for the trendiest, boldest logo.
We are thinking clean, trendy, and bold with a focus on our user base.
The logo will need to be able to support room for a tag-line, but no tag-line should be with the logo.
No grayscale, and prefer no more than 4 colors.
Should look fluent on dark & light backgrounds.
We are open to all creative liberties.
Need the PSD, vector format, and also a Print Friendly format for large size (Banners/Signs) AI or EPS.
