Top three things we want to communicate with our logo:
#1 jobs on the website offer superior employment conditions (pay, conditions & respect)
#2 It is beneficial to job-seekers AND employers
#3 we screen out the bad jobs/employers – we take the hard work out of job seeking
The LHMU http://www.lhmu.org.au/ has a logo and color scheme, but there is no current logo for the better jobs website.
The LHMU color is burgundy C=0, M=100, Y=64, K=33, another color preference is blue - but we’re open to any color/scheme.
What style we’re after:
Obviously, we want a logo that is unique and memorable and conveys what the site is about. We want it to be simple, young, modern, and energetic. We want the words better jobs in the logo – we don’t want the acronym BJ. It can be in lower case, title case or capitalized – whatever looks best. We would like a Black and White version as well.
What the logo is for/how used:
The primary use of the logo will be on the website. It will also be used in advertising, both online and in print, so it should be scalable and simple enough to work across mediums. Posters, flyers, leaflets, videos, cards, etc..
We need a print file format (eg .ai or indesign) and a web file format (jpeg/layered psd).
