We are a small company that has had some decent success selling original, funny t-shirts on the web. We try to set ourselves apart by only printing ideas that haven't been done before. (We're not one of those cookie-cutter t-shirt shops that sells the same stuff as everyone else.) We focus our advertising efforts on social media, as it has been an essential tool in growing without a huge advertising budget. You won't find our banners all over the Internet like some other shops, but you will find people talking about us where it matters. We try to keep our designs PG13 or friendlier. Now, we want to up our game by using better quality shirts, finding better (and more) independent artists, hiring beautiful models, etc. We want to become a serious brand that sells funny shirts. This includes branching out into brick-and-mortar retail stores.

We mainly target high school to college age kids and even mid-20 to 30-somethings. Generally, these people still have a sense of humor and aren't tired of living. They like to express themselves by wearings clothes that match their personality. They aren't afraid to be bold. They aren't afraid to take chances. They're invincible, so they have the ability to wear their guts on their chests. We also take unique social opportunities to target certain cliques within these age ranges. We like to help young people make social statements in an original and humorous way.
You can find our current logo at http://www.conchtees.com. As you can see, it's pretty blah. We don't want something that looks like clip-art anymore. We want a brand, a real brand. We want something you'd see in stores and instantly know who made it. It has to be professional, unique, sharp, exciting, evocative, etc. While we make our transition to a designer shop, we want to use the phrase "designer series." (I'm not saying to use this phrase in the logo; I'm merely trying to give you an idea of how we're envisioning our new look.) The image will need to be recognizable without the text. If you use a conch shell, it had better be a unique conch shell. Keep in mind, also, that this logo will go on our website, our clothing, our clothing tags, in catalogs, on signs, etc. It needs to be versatile. Think "J. Crew of Funny T-Shirts." Be creative. We have no preconceived notions of what this SHOULD look like...we can only convey the attitude we're looking for.
