We help graduate students complete their doctoral dissertations. Most people "coach" students, we also consult--reading their dissertations and providing content editing and support formulating their research, conducting their research and analyzing the results of their study.
People who are working on their doctorates. Usually in the USA. Pretty diverse in terms of all other demographics.
Please take a look at http://www.dissertationdoctor.com to see the old logo. That logo is too amateurish and busy, and just isn't designed well. We want something simpler, clearer, and cleaner. We still want the words "Dissertation Doctor" in there, but they don't need to be part of the logo symbol itself.
Here's the thinking that went into the old logo, which may or may not be helpful in designing a new one...
The dissertation is a treacherous journey:
And prospective clients are desperate for a guide and for support. Dissertations are about putting together many words and that's why I used the letters from Dissertation Doctor to build the logo. The idea is that the Doctor is the support for the person doing the dissertation. The word dissertation is supposed to be like one of those suspension bridges and the doctor and the pillars are holding it up.
My thought is to stick with the primary colors. But use red sparingly. I
thought the blue and gold colors are reminiscent of graduation which is what all my clients are after. Also if you notice blue is on the left and that
is what my clients feel when they seek me out and yellow or gold represents the experience when they reach the destination.
