Logo for RideApps.com, web2.0, open on color but suggest use of green or blue. not red, not purple/pink or girly.
the style of design we like is the logo at
http://3.cycleapps.com/ - clean, web2.0, unique.
our very temporary placeholder for the RideApps logo is at the bottom of that page... or at
http://3.cycleapps.com/img/fatmoto/powered.jpg .. do not let this little sample confuse, we do not want it to say "rideR apps" but instead "Ride Apps", also do not feel you need to have with a sprocket.. I'd prefer you did not actually. I'm NOT looking for a clone of this (we can do that), but it is simple and web2.0 ... hopefully you can replace this C- sample with an A+
An emblem or graphic that ties it to motorcycling is acceptable, but it must be modern/cool. don't put a motorcyle on it unless it just rocks, and a memorable logo that is simple will go a lot farther than some logo with a clipart motorcycle dude on it... I have a hard time seeing such a logo with all that graphic detail working.
Please show me this logo on a white, gray, and black background.
the logo must look good large, but must especially look good in both medium size (such as 300px) and small (such as 140px wide).
Legibile font is key. fonts that are hard to read will be quickly disqualified. The font needs sent with the logo please.
Unique and memorable, with a modern/clean style is the basis for selecting the new logo.
playing around on 99 designs, I liked these logos:
http://99designs.com/contests/18987…es/1495984 - so unique and well suited for them (great for tshirt or ad)
http://99designs.com/contests/18987…es/1506659 - clean/stylish
http://99designs.com/contests/18987…es/1501770 - clean/stylish and memorable!
http://99designs.com/contests/18917…#entry-170 - too perfect for the design spec!
Take a little leash, try something cool, but too much detail pls ... A great concept will likely win, not heavy artistic complexity.
If you were able to convey it was a social network within the logo, while keeping it clean/stylish, that's a nice bonus!
