Rockband text and picture logo! (merchandise)

Blackstar Halo has just released new album "Illuminated". Band was formerly known as "Downfall" and now due to name change we need a new logo. The logo will be on backdrops, t-shirts, mugs, bandanas, beltbuckles, caps, hats, you name it. so the exposure will be great for the winning designer!

We tried doing to the logo via several artists but that did not lead to conclusion, now we are trying new approach and see if it is indeed possible to get ORIGINAL logo using new media!

Target audience is 12-25 year old music/heavy metal/rock enthusiasts. They like to draw the logo to their pencil holders and school-tables so it needs to be simple and yet it should have some simple "hooks" to make it original and easily recognizable.

We are not attracting death metal audience so the logo should not be arbitrary death metal tangle. Remember Kiss and Anthrax they kept it simple =)

We need:
-text logo as vector
-picture logo as vector
-combination of picture and text logo ->instruction below
-colored version of combined logo (optional)

Textlogo:

-textlogo should work alone without the picture logo

-Text logo should be a original font, not copied from dafont.com or similar sites. HOWEVER, you CAN use some font as basis and make it your own, add some hooks, some original touch to make it stand out. You CAN draw the text logo by hand as well, any way you like it!

-Make it simple but add some hooks to make it recognizable so youngsters can draw it to their school tables easily =)

-Gothic medieval old book fonts
-pixel fonts

Picture Logo:
-picture logo should somehow incorporate "halo" and "star" objects.
-We have previously used our "three spike" logo that also should be incorporated to the logo somehow. it is not a must but it would be a good thing.(logo attached)
