Americharge is a credit card processing company. We enable small businesses like restaurants, retail stores, hotels, gas stations and many other traidional “Brick and Mortar” locations the ability to accept credit cards from there customer. We provide the credit card machines as well as hands on training and 24/7/365 support. We are a full service company with a VERY high commitment to excellence.
The most important thing to understand about our industry is that there are many unscrupulous and dishosent providers who prey on the fact that business owners lack the knowledge to fully understand our industry and how rates and pricing work. This allows many companies to charge hidden markups and fees causing the business owner to unkowingly overpay.
The AmeriCharge model is focused entriely on educating a business owner FIRST. WE DON’T USE BAIT AND SWITCH OR LIE TO OUR CLIENTS TO GET THEM TO SIGN WITH US. We often say “We are the good guys in a very bad business” Our strong growth has proven that our approach works and many of our clients come through referrals.
Our target audience is small tradional “MOM and POP” strorefonts. Examples woulld be restaurants, clothing stores, liquor stores, dry cleaners, veterinarians and any other small local business. Our typicall client is looking to cut cost by saving money on there credit card processing fees. VERY IMPORTANT - most business owners are being inendated by credit card processors pitching low rates trying to bait them into hidden fees and long term contracts. So as a company it is very important for us to build trust and repor as many business owners distrust our industry. With that in mind we want our logo to comminicate that we are a trusted, experienced, service provider that will not lie to them.
We are looking for a text based logo as we have become so frustrated with trying to get the right look. At this point we feel the name AmeriCharge represented in the right font is good enough. We are looking for a font that stands out and is unique, bold, strong, confident, professional, corporate but yet warm and trusting and that does not have wide spaces between each letter as we like a more condenced look. We want something to build our brand for many years to come. The text “AmerCharge” can be any color but we are partial to red, black, blue and the logo can be two colors but will want to see solid color versions as well so please dont just submit a two color logo we want to see solid as well. And yes AmeriCharge should have the “A” and “C” capitalized. The tag line of “value beyond the transaction” should be incorporated into the design but we would like to see the logo with the tag line and without and it can be either lower case or all caps – whatever the designer thinks is appropriate. The trade mark symbol (TM) should also be added as well to the design. We have spent a great deal of time researching what look and feel we want and feel the “Font” used in our logo will be the most important element. With that in mind we are including some text based logo designs for review. Also, WE DO NOT LIKE THE ARIEL FONT OR FONTS THAT ARE "THIN" SO PLEASE NO ARIEL OR THIN TYPE OF FONTS.
