Tadpole Adaptive
Tadpole Adaptive is an online retailer specializing in mobility equipment for children with special needs. We specialize in selling wheelchairs, standers, walkers, sitters, car seats etc. We are a new startup and are preparing to enter the marketplace with our online store launch very soon.
We are looking for an amazing logo to help brand ourselves. We want something clean and fresh, perhaps even cartoony, as we are selling products to children--well actually, the parents will be the ones doing the actual buying.
Obviously, we want a tadpole in the design, we have experimented with a green tadpole design with big cartoony eyes and we do like that idea.
Hopefully we can use the tadpole character as a spokesperson.
Parents of children with special needs. We also want kids to proudly display the logo on clothes and other merchandise. We want children with disabilities and their families to feel comfortable with our brand.
What we want:
A simple vector (must be vector) designed logo in preferably green and grey (we are open to other color combos) we want the tadpole to be expressive and fun looking.
Here is something we like:

We are open to the look of the “Tadpole Adaptive” text part of the logo. In our sketch-ups we had the tadpole character in both the “d” and the “p” as those letters sort of look like a tadpole, this is not necessary however.
“Tadpole Adaptive” can be capped or lowercase, whatever works best in the design.
We are open to different fonts, as long as it is easy to read.
We like logos the have stroke in either the lettering or the background.
Since our target market is children with disabilities we are open to having the tadpole reflecting disability in some way...we’ll leave it up to you but he could have a crutch, or be in in a wheelchair...there are many possibilities, perhaps this isn’t even necessary.
Feel free to use/improve upon our existing Tadpole concept--or come up with your own!
Bonus points if you can think of a clever tagline with the logo! Think change, adaptability, how using specialized equipment can improve a child’s life who has a disability, etc.
Also, we will be using the tadpole “character” in other marketing without the text, so please make sure we can use him independently.
