VertiGo's mission is to be most green snow sports apparel company in the world. Our promise is to make all our products from 100 percent recycled materials. These types of garments made from materials of bamboo, organic cotton, hemp, post-industrial recycled polyester, recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic, polylactic acid (PLA), or organic wool. We source products from factories that use sustainable methods.
We commit to standing behind our products. Our goal is to make each product last as long as possible, and to help customers find new uses for products at the end of their original use. Every product we make comes with a lifetime guarantee, and is completely recyclable. After a product is retired, we will recycle it and offer a 25 percent discount on your next purchase.

Our customers need gear that keeps them warm and dry without impairing performance during intense athletic activity. They also need to products that are produced with methods that sustain the health of the environment and the workers who make them.
Our products are designed for snow sports athletes. There are two demographics to target specifically:
1. Students ages18-30; this group has $48B of annual discretionary income, up from $33B in 2003. There are roughly 17M college students in the U.S. Research shows that 1 in 4 students has purchased a product this year specifically because it was socially conscious.
2. Young professionals ages25-38; this group has an average household income over $100,000; the average individual form this group spent $470 on apparel in 2008.
Simple design. Green, brown, white are preferred colors. Mountain design in logo is a plus. See attached example.
Simple fonts and design. Mostly open to design elements that convey green or recyclable while staying simple.
