Simple Children Cartoon Character--> Mouse

Husband and wife team developing an ipad app. This is an educational app for young children.

Primary users are young children ages 2-10 and the adult using the app with them. They will be looking for a character that is entertaining and cheerful.

The character is to be a mouse.

Key characteristics that we are looking for to the mouse:
- Simplicity is important, because ultimately we will be animating.
- Friendly face
- Looks entertaining and nice
- Standing upright.
- Somewhat colorful
- 2 dimensional
- The best examples from a complexity standpoint are Felix the Cat (but more colorful) or Brian from the Family Guy
- There will be sound associated, but not necessarily with these designs.
- Character should be approx 8cm in height.

Looking for three poses:
1. A waiting posture. Kind of an "I am waiting to go have some fun" look.
2. A "ta-da" stance. Like he has just performed some sort of trick and is very proud of himself. Should be smiling.
3. Watering a plant- A more mellow mouse here, just going about his business.

I realize these requirements are a bit vague, so I will rate submissions as they come in to give you a better idea of what appeals to me.

Contest winner will provide layered RGB file in Photoshop PSD or Fireworks PNG format and JPEG.
