APESMA is a membership based organisation for professionals in Australia. Members include engineers, scientists, managers, etc...
The organisation is BOTH a professional association and a body that defends members entitlements. It recognises our members role as leaders and innovators. By joining APESMA, our members receive professional advice on support on their entitlements, professional development, knowledge, career advice, and other lifestyle benefits.
Membership also results in a community of professionals - our slogan is "Professionals together". And the idea is that together, through our professions, we can strive forward and make our lives, Australia and the world a better place.
Professionals working in engineering, science, management, government, and other sectors who are not members.
We are especially interested in targetting young graduates and young professinoals - those under 35.
The brochure design however should not alienate those over 35 and should be equally compelling.
The audience is professionals - that is - people who have a university degree and consider themselves leaders in their chosen profession.
The brochure should not stereotype the traditional image of a professional or an engineer or scientist. Rather it should be professional and "horizontal" in nature - not "vertical" or "industrial".
The brochure is full colour and it is not necessary to stick to the colours of the logo. In fact - the design should use colour in a creative and innovative way.
The cover page should ensure target audience opens it.
The SIZE of the brochure is a HALF FOLD DL size - that is when the brochure is folded, it should be able to fit in to a DL sized envelope.
The APESMA Logo should appear on the cover and the back of the brochure. However, the square logo can be less prominent and the words APESMA should be prominent along with the words "Professionals together" - see attached files.
There is a need for a compelling cover image that can be composed from a design or brought in using photo images. Alternatively, the designer can indicate where a photograph can be inserted in to the design.
Please use fonts that are easy to access and comes as standard with CS3 or can be freely obtained, if possible.
