Stamford Downtown is the preferred name for "Stamford Downtown Special Services District," a Business Improvement District. Its mission is to manage, enhance and promote the Downtown experience. Stamford Downtown offers a broad array of shops, restaurants, services, arts, education and events.

We represent a district made up of apartments, offices, shops, restaurants and bars. Our role is to maintain and activate the district through special events including concerts, parades and art installations. A few words to describe us: Vibrant, educated, active, outdoor dining, live concerts, urban, art and culture hub, walkable, sustainable.
