The Royal Adelaide Show, Australian 178 years tradition, ask for a mascot that would work mostly as a costume, giving several options of characters they would like to see.
Two of those characters were a scarecrow and an alien, and those inspired this design. Supposedly an extraterrestrial in disguise who travel to be at the fair.
I use colors associated with earth to the coloring.
