We are a small but growing consulting company that caters to small businesses running on Macs. Our clients say they like us because we are not the average group of IT guys, that they can connect with us unlike regular IT people. While we may have refined taste, we are also down to earth. We enjoy helping creative people reach their goals with technology. It's pretty cool to watch designers in the process. People often ask who Hugo and Wren are, as the company name is hugoWREN. Hugo and Wren are actually my 2 dogs, though they are not the company mascots.
Our client base is very design focused and are Mac users and choose to run their business on Mac. Our business continues to expand, so our cards need to reflect the design centric nature of their businesses. Our three biggest client categories are ad agencies, fashion designers, and high end retail stores.
We don't have a logo per se, but rather we just use our company name in Helvetica Neue Ultra Light formatted as: hugoWREN so that must obviously appear on the card.
Required fields are name, title, email, phone, website. I am not sure if I want to put the address on the card or not.
Must include the attached EPS somewhere.
Please note that Apple will not allow their logo on the business card by itself, it must appear as it is in the EPS file, with the worlds Consultants Network next to the logo. I will have to eliminate any designs that have the Apple logo by itself as it's not a design I would be allowed to use.
Open to both single sided and double sided cards.
Considering adding tag-lines:
Not your average IT.
Mac Retail, Business, & Creative Consulting
can be of unusual card size/shape, but nothing too crazy.
I like heavier card stock and letter pressing, but not required. Matte finish more than likely.
While I am open to creative freedom, please keep the design clean, modern, and chic. I am not sure if color would be a good idea, though I could be wrong.
I need the final file as an Adobe Illustrator document so that I can edit the contact fields and get them printed. I have CS 5 installed so any version is ok.
