People’s Collection Wales
The People’s Collection Wales is a contemporary, interactive and bilingual online experience dedicated to the history of Wales and its people. It is a rich cultural and social treasure trove that charts the human story of Wales with an archive of reminiscences, photographs, video and audio for future generations.
We engage with museums, archives, libraries, community and local history groups and education providers to encourage digitisation and publication online. The site combines makes innovative mapping and GIS as well as mobile GPS technology in order to interpret history and heritage in a new way.
As a company, we deal with a range of stakeholders, from museums, archives and libraries, to community and history groups and education providers. We provide digitisation advice and encourage and facilitate participation online and in new technologies.
We often get requests for training, presentations, attendance at conferences and other events in order to promote our work with People’s Collection Wales and in the field of digitisation.
Logos are attached for the designers in TIFF format. Please note the Peoples Collection Logo cannot be altered. The Culturenet Cymru logo however does have some leeway. The text to the right of the logo, can be moved below the logo.
Looking for a double sided multi use business card for our staff to use.
An eye catching card drawing strongly on People’s Collection Wales branding but retaining some Culturenet Cymru identity - see the attached logos.
The cards will be used by all staff, so the email area should allow for that person to input their name before the @ symbol in our email
The cards should include the Culturenet Cymru and People’s Collection Wales logos (attached)
A design using the front and back of the card to form a wraparound design is acceptable.
Our work makes use of interesting and diverse images and we’d like to try incorporating these into a design, e.g. using a selection of images that could be used (i.e. produce 5 or 6 cards of the same design, but with different images). Find images on our main site http://www.gtj.org.uk
You do not have to use images within the design, this is just a suggestion.
As a bilingual organisation we use both Welsh and English and our business card should reflect this, below is both sets of text which should appear on the card.
