We are lawyers specialising in property law
We have previously had a business in property management that was called TEYS Strata
The previous business (TEYS Strata) had a logo designed for it but due to the change in our business (now TEYS Lawyers) we now have to change the logo and stationery ... slightly
The core 'TEYS' part of the logo remains, so too does the colouring etc
In fact, we have a Brand Standards Manual that shows all of the fonts, colours and application
So, really, the work is all about just adding the word 'Lawyers'
But while we're at it, let's apply a bit of 2010 too! ... you're a good designer (I think ?) and the designs in the brand manual are pretty old.
Whilst we have to retain the core word (TEYS), we should give it a 'freshen-up' as well
We are lawyers, our clients are property owners
The whole conversation between them and us is a serious one
However, we are a new firm and we have a 'new' approach to things. We love technology, we are completely in the 'cloud', we are largely paper free and we have a bunch of very smart, younger lawyers that make up our team
I think, in summary, we are breaking new, conservative ground
Another way to say it is - our clients need us to be sensible and pragmatic but they like the fact that we are innovative and fresh
Here's what we're after ...
We have a new team here and we expect to have new lawyers join the team over time. Therefore, we would really like to have a template that can be adjusted for new contact details
We would like you to work in .ai or .indd because we have that software and we can punch out new versions for new staff
Also, I've attached a layout for our new business cards. One side of the business cards has a completely new side (see wire-frame card layout attached)
Can you please prepare a letterhead that shows the new logo and the business information of the company
Please provide this in 'Word' format so that we can get it straight into our day-to-day practice
As a part of this process, we will need the logo updated to include the word 'Lawyers'
This will require a bit of thought. Although not too much as the core part of it will remain the same
We would like you to provide the logo in various file formats that allow us to apply it to things like window signage, web work, t-shirts etc
NOTES ABOUT THE ATTACHMENTS
I've attached the previous brand standards manual so that you can see what was previously prepared
Don't be married to this. We encourage your creative input. Keep the core (TEYS) and go nuts with the rest
Once you have completed the work above, we'd really like it if you could prepare a small version of a brand standards manual. Limit - 4 pages
Thanks. Good luck!
