We're a start-up that provides business application services for small and medium sized organizations over the web. Ofisim.com will be our first portal in our portfolio delivering CRM (Customer Relationship Management) functionality for our customers. The site is expected to grow in the future with additional functionality such as HelpDesk support and Inventory management.
The site is still under development. You can visit the working prototype at http://ofisim.cloudapp.net (User name/password are admin/admin)
As you’ll see, our current site does not yet have a landing page. We’re soon planning to go live with an invitation-only beta program. To attract customers, we want to have a simple landing page that’ll draw attention and generate WOW at first sight.
Customers that are accepted for the beta program will be able to login and use our web application. We want to make sure the application itself also has a clean, web 2.0 like design that blends nicely with the landing page. There are many pages in the application, but we want to see the design just for 2 pages: Main dashboard and company details page.
We’re very interested in seeing some professional looking designs that’ll differentiate us from the crowd. We’re in the business of developing web apps and we can also potentially have a long term work agreement with the winner.
Business professionals that work on team environments and rely on effective communication and collaboration tools: Marketing agencies, web design firms, consultants, etc.
There are 2 set of requirements:
1) Delivery of the 3 pages described below. Pages should blend well together. People should feel like they’re all part of the same experience.
2) Currently, ofisim.com does not have a product logo. We’re also very interested in seeing an eye-catching logo design for ofisim.com that'll be used on the landing page as well as the subsequent application pages. Ofisim brand (which literally means "My Office" in Turkish), should resonate the power of cloud computing, the comfort of having your office data accessible from anytime/anywhere and the powerful set of tools around communication and collaboration.
1.The landing page for ofisim.com. This will be very similar to http://www.getflow.com. The page will be used during our beta program. Its whole purpose will be arousing curiosity with its simple but elegant design. Similar to http://www.getflow.com, there should be some icons giving clues about what’s inside. Particularly: Contact, Project, Task and File management features, together with Collaboration features should be represented.
2.Dashboard page. This is the re-design of what you see when you sign-in through http://ofisim.cloudapp.net (User name/password are admin/admin). Please see example websites below. We’re looking for a clean design with soft edges. Soft colors that are easy to the eye with good use of contrast will be appreciated. In your designs, please keep usability, readability, ease-of-navigation in your mind. Feel free to change the location or size of anything on the screen for that purpose.
3.Company details page: This is the re-design of http://ofisim.cloudapp.net/CompanyV…ompanyID=1 . This should simply be the continuation of the Dashboard page and relatively straightforward. We just want to see an example of interim pages to figure out how the rest of the pages in the site should look like.

For the web application:
http://www.pulseapp.com (Click on “Feature Tour” to see the screenshots)
Great use of colors and fonts. Although it’s a webapp solving a business problem, there’s an appealing simplicty in its UI design.
http://www.reverbapp.com (Click on “Tour” to see the screenshots)
Quite nice in general layout. Also the app functionality is very similar to ours. The font sizes are a little small though.

Very clean edges. Nice 3D effect on UI elements. Good use of fonts.
For the logo:
Soft colors, resonates a sense of coziness which Ofisim would like to message as well (As mentioned above, Ofisim literally means "My Office"). Good focus on people and team environment.
Not as good as the previous one. But good emphasis on collaboration aspects and good use of colors.
Very good depiction of teams collaborating. Gives a sense of office environment as well. Good use of colors.
