The websites are initiatives of SkyDreams (http://www.skydreams.com/). SkyDreams is the holding company and operates websites in 9 European countries. In total we operate around 120 different websites.
The goal of this re-design project is to have a new design that is optimized towards the sites primary conversion goal. This will be explained in more detail in the rest of the brief.
The content of the websites is Dutch, but don’t worry.. all of the new mock-ups have been created in English so everyone can participate!
About the ‘Weetjes’ websites:
The portfolio consists of 20 different comparison websites where visitors can request and compare quotes for home improvement projects. The websites contain between 30 – 100 content rich (mainly textual) pages.
The ‘Weetjes’ websites (examples: http://www.dakkapel-weetjes.nl, http://www.zonnepanelen-weetjes.nl & http://www.tegelzetter-weetjes.nl) are informational ‘niche’ websites that provide visitors with honest, transparent, thorough information and the option to request and compare quotes. Most visitors reach our website through Google (organic results).
The new design will be used for the entire ‘Weetjes’ portfolio of 20 websites.
Through our sites the visitors can request and compare quotes from up to 6 companies in their local area. The primary conversion goal of our websites is the quote request.
If a visitor requests a quote, this request is send to local specialists that have a partnership with SkyDreams. These companies will then send a quote to the consumer and pay a (fixed) fee per quote request to SkyDreams.

Who is using the ‘Weetjes’ websites:
Consumers that are looking for (cost) information regarding home improvements and also want to request and compare quotes from different companies in their local area. We’re not targeting a ‘do-it-yourself’ audience.
Current performance of the websites:
The websites are ranking well in the organic results of Google. The conversion rate (% of visitors that request a quote) is relatively low. This is also one of the reasons that we’re specifically looking for a design which is focused on this goal.
The final designs should be done on 1st May.
