This couldn't be easier for a talented designer. We already have a working wire-frame prototype, we simply need the design elements to apply.
BUT - If you show us a good reason to change our layout - we will. Nothing's set in stone, so do what feels best. We've held 4 successful contest, and we provide quick and detailed feedback to every submission.
We're wrapping up our new eCommerce platform and we need a design for the admin CMS that's unique, creative, and packed with personality. Professional, but with enough style and spunk that it doesn't feel "corporate".
We managed to pick up a few hundred clients with our first platform, and they are passionately dedicated because we listen, act quickly, we educate, and we're constantly improving. We're fun, personable and they know us all by first name. Most importantly - they know we care.
We have an appreciation for inspiring design, and everything we create is based on intuitive usability and performance. A new client should be able to hop in the driver seat and take it to 5th gear without grinding the gears. "a.k.a. customer support or instructions." Great intuitive design gives new clients an immediate confidence boost when they feel in control. Plus it's a thing of beauty to fellow designers and developers.
We have a culture that is energetic, fun, and ambitious - and we're all web geeks, which is why MailChimp was our primary reference. We don't want to mimic their design, only how their personality shines through.
Anybody selling online, so it should impress and engage all audiences.
Not possible?
Just view the latest anything from Apple. The interface is always so intuitive it's inherently likable.
You deliverable can look like our "99Designs Mock Deliver", or by creating single image with all the design elements going down the page like the "final delivery layout example" from Theme Forrest.
NOTE: we do not like the designs of the "Final Delivery Layout" examples. They lack the originality and character we're looking for. Only reference them as an option for your design drafts.
Show us whatever you think will give your vision the best pop. Just make sure it has the common elements designed (a.k.a = stuff like the bullets below.
* Navigation, Menus
* Table
* Grid
* Text, Headings (headline1,2,3 etc.)
* Call-out box
* Gallery (images)
* Pagination
* Windows/Modals
* Forms
* Controls (Buttons & Switches)
What we DON'T want:
* Generic design, Clipart, overused stock graphics
* Overuse of BLUE and/or GRAY
* Any single color combination (want unique combo)

We don't want their colors or exact designs, but we do like how their color combo was unique and recognizable. The spacing, details, and elements seem very thought out and perfected.

Their admin is so intuitive you feel empowered within minutes. And like us, they aim to stay ahead of the curve on integrations and tools.

While their platform is light in features, their designs and interfaces are always attractive and fun.
