Happy Team is a group of 6 individuals who happen to be software developers. We spent the last 6-8 years expanding our skills in software development field choosing different technologies.
We work on a daily basis mainly with .NET Framework in C# language but over the course of years our delivered projects varied from ASP.NET MVC websites, WPF desktop applications, Single Page Applications written in Angular and Backbone to iOS apps.
We love people and communities therefore we have founders of DevDay (http://devday.pl), organizers of GET.NET(https://konferencjaget.net/en/lodz) conferences and dev@LDZ meetup group among us. Most of us are also successful international conference speakers. It's not only writing code but also exchanging opinions and ideas which is important for our growth.
As a team we have been working together for about a year exploring different ways of inspiring each other. This resulted in ideas like Constant Feedback, Developer Day, Video Lunch, Sprint MVP and more (here's our recipe:http://blog.mihcall.com/2014/12/21/A-recipe-for-a-happy-software-development-team/) which overall makes it possible for each and every one of us to become a better software developer while also having fun and being happy.
We believe that Happy Team == Happy Client.
The new website we’re looking for should be aimed toward increasing our services awareness and advertising our team. Our target audience are other businesses from any industry that need dedicated software solutions or professional expertise for they’re growth and profit. Users should be able to easily access the website either from their mobile devices or desktops. The only thing we have for the moment is a logo (pic & font, available at http://happyteam.io), thus new design should accommodate it. Our selling point is a (happy) team of experienced software developers, which delivers software products that follow current industry standards. The market is already saturated with competitors, so it’s very important to stick out from the crowd and one of the first things possible customers will hit is the website.
The content we need to have on the website is following:
- what kind of solutions we deliver
- our background (experience + portfolio)
- about us (about the company itself and developers working there)
- contact details
- what technologies we’re operating in
- that we work remotely
- blog subpage
We like scrollable, single-page websites over tabbed ones.
As a result we’d like to have a simple website that would act as a frontline for our possible customers to hit. The information presented should be clear and easy to digest, so that a customer would know what to expect from getting in touch with us.
