I'm a superaffiliate. I build websites that are in it for the long run and the only way to achieve that is to give superior usability. My websites rank well in the SEs and gets lot of traffic because they have a value for the user. When you have visited one of my sites you are better informed than you were before.
My audience for this project are people looking to compare prices and stores that sell ink cartridges and toners. Buying ink on the net is often a first time for them and they are confused because of all the printer models, cartridge numbers and different stores out there. They need help to find the best deal for them and inktown will help them with that.
- Come up with a unique logo including the name inktown.com (and the possibility to easily make logos with different domain endings like inktown.net, inktown.co.uk etc).
- My own idea is to have the top of the page looking like a road leading to a town in the distance and a sign in the foreground that says:
welcome to inktown.com
Population: 140 003 people
11 243 price quotes
8 412 printers
Payoff line something like: We collect and compare prices to help you find the best deal on printer ink and toner
The above idea is pretty good I think so please explore it if you like it. Or come up with a completely different theme. It is up to you.
I need design of 6 different kind of pages:
1. Front page
3. Printer brands page
4. Printer models page
5. Search result page
6. Price comparison page
See attached specs for the pages.
Note! The main purpose of the site is to help shoppers and most importantly to get them to click out on the store links. We need to create a natural flow that makes the user click through and out. No clicks out = no income for me. We want the user to take action, not just look at the front page and close it down.
