KrugerPark.com
We resell all forms of accommodation in the Kruger National Park including South African National Parks, luxury lodges and packaged tours.
The business has only a virtual presence, so the website is the main point of contact with all clients.
Our audience consists mainly of FITs or free independent travelers. This new breed of client has emerged from the large amount of information available online. The conventional model would involve guests booking through retail travel agencies. Now, enough information is available for guests to make informed decisions and ultimately make their own travel arrangements.
In terms of age ranges, we service a very wide range of guests but it is safe to say the majority of our guests are above 25 years of age.
We currently have a website that is good. But it is by no means excellent. We need a website that is professionally put together on all levels, which appeals to our target audience and puts us at the front of the pack in our industry. It should be cutting edge from a web design point of view, while still being grounded in the realm that we operate in.
Currently, the only thing we are happy with is the "paw" icon that goes in the header of the site - this does not include the current font. I have attached the paw to this brief. So please use the paw in your submissions. Unfortunately, we do not have a hi-res version of the paw available, but the shape is straightforward and I'm sure any competent designer would be able to reproduce it without too much difficulty.
Do not pay any attention to anything else on the site for layout or colour schemes, it should only be used to give content to your designs. We are looking for something original and creative.
Please do not:
* Submit anything too close to the original website
Some ideas:
* Try make submissions less "texty" than the original site. Try to feature less items and use more pictures
