Idle Media Inc
Idle Media Inc is a company that builds and maintains a variety of web properties. We have recently opened up to investors and now need a site to display information.
This site will mainly target potential investors and current shareholders who may be looking for more information about the company.
The site will also showcase our current properties. With this in mind, we want the site to be clean and easy to navigate/read, but also have a sense of style. We'd like to deviate a bit from the standard cookie-cutter corporate sites -- after all, we are not a standard cookie-cutter corporation!
Firstly, here is our current logo and business cards for staff: http://i46.tinypic.com/t8qkih.png - the site does NOT have to be dark, but our current site, logo and even office signage does in fact use black and shades of red like the logo/business card.
On to the requirements. As mentioned, the site will need to not only be a showcase for our web properties, but also provide up to date information on the company such as PR releases and other news tidbits. Our Stock symbold (IDLM.OB) should be visible on all pages as well as the current quote. We're even open to embedding a graph from a site like finance.yahoo.com
While we would like brief snippets from these various sections on the homepage, navigation should be set up to point to more specific and important pages such as: "Company News"/"Media", "About Us", "Portfolio" etc. You need not focus on the specific links, just so long as the site is designed in a way that there is a unified navigation so that we can add the specifics later.
Here are some example corporate sites that are geared towards investor relations:
http://globalresourcecorp.ir.stockpr.com/
http://www.cbre.com/EN/Pages/default.aspx
http://interclick.com/
If we had to pick a design style from t he above, we'd lean more towards the more modern and stylish interclick design, though not EXACTLY that design (if that makes sense).
