Over the past year we have been developing a new project management software. All of our designers are currently allocated to UI work for the software. We need to start working on the website and decided to try 99 Designs.
I have wireframed the layout I want. I have plenty of examples of sites I like and I am just looking for someone to come in and make it look awesome.
Clever Tools is a new project management software that combines collaboration, issue tracking, time tracking, and other elements into a convenient package. We are looking for a home page that is designed to reflect this data and entice users to singup for a free account. After looking over literally 100+ websites, we have found design elements we liked and mocked up a wireframe.
We need you to take wireframe and own it. Meaning, take the general layout and ideas we have and be creative. Look at the list of other sites we like. These sites all contain elements we like. The design must be unique, but use those as ideas of the type of site we are looking for.
Please note that the wireframe is not drawn to scale. It has just been put together to show the general layout ideas and features on the home page we would like. The notepad icons on the wireframe will offer more details on that specific design element.
While we are not asking you to code, just design, please keep in mind when designing that AJAX will be used in various parts of the home page (see wireframe).
This size and design must use conventional industry standards. It should have the "web 2.0" design aspects and feel to it. They should be done in a layered PSD.
I have included our logo and some screenshots here. This will give you screenshots to use in the design and also give you a feel our the UI which should help you in your design.
Payment will be made either PayPal or Western Union. If we have to pay via Western Union, we will split the fees with the winner.
The winner will also be asked to do more work for us as a contractor if he/she chooses. We have a lot of design work we could use help with and we are always looking for more talent.
- Web 2.0 design influences
- OWN IT. Take our wireframe and give it your own design style
- Pay attention to the list of sites we like.
- STOLEN designs. Must be all original.
- Outdated, overly corporate feel
