R. J. Silva is a creative software engineer with more than 20 patents issued in the United States and his knack for storytelling led him to write his own memoir to try and motivate others to pursue their dreams. He is a singer, writer, volleyball player, motivational speaker, former physics teacher, and car washer. Other than writing about his life, his other big dream is to have a concert in Brazil.
He lives in Southern California with his loving wife, Márcia, two daughters, Gabriela and Rebecca and their pet dog, Muppet.

Impossible Crossing is a powerful account of how a shy, curious boy from humble beginnings has dealt with bullying and hardship to get into the college with the toughest admissions exam in Brazil, overcoming impossible odds, at least 1 in 1 million, to be more precise. Along the way, we meet the people who have had a big impact on him, his friends, family and unexpected heroes, and we come away with the feeling that they’ve become our family, friends and heroes too.
Punctuated by laugh out loud moments and uplifting life lessons, the book doesn’t shy away from showing the darker side of humanity: bullying, brushes with death, jealousy and sabotage, but it also shows the joie de vivre and empathy of the author and the people around him as he explores his surroundings and tries to understand what life, family, God, love, success and his hidden talents are.

I will share an image, which clearly defines my vision. Regarding the image, I just have a few notes:
1) This is an inspirational book.
2) I want the boy in the picture to have darker skin, black hair, wear shorts and be barefoot.
3) I would like the gap in the bridge to be wide enough, so we get the impression that it's impossible for the boy to jump from one side to the other.
4) The side of the bridge where the boy stands must be old and dark, whereas the other side must be in much better shape, and have light.
