My thoughts were, theres more to nakedness in marriage than what happens between the sheets, sometimes you have to do washing too!

On beginning sketches I noted how otters were quite \"rectangle shaped\" and thought to myself \"what would an otter smart phone look like\" - as the CH worked in online media, mostly consumed on smartphones.

The rationale here is, from the CH description/Brief, it sounds like despite the cacophony of \"strange\" going on in the main characters mind, he is still managing to get stuff done. Calm and coordinated on the outside (white), even though feathers are flying in his internal psyche.
The peace of the cover, and the turmoil/tension inside the book creates an allegory of the equilibrium in the main character.

The original idea was to have the feathers coloured/appearing like knives, however I kept it simple with a single coloured black outlined logo (applied in gold in the upper preview).")

Hi! I have been dabbling in Graphic Design for friends and community organisations and programs for a number of years, but have recently taken the step to undertake a qualification in Graphic Design!
I love bright colours, geometric shapes, typography and the challenge of taking contest holders imagination and making designs which shine their light!
