It was created for a non-fiction eBook that takes a look at jobs in a totally new way. It is aimed at people that see their dream work as being completely unrelated to a location, an office or a cubicle farm.
The client had a simple requirement: a title and an inspiring graphic. He wanted the cover to scream “read me if working from anywhere is your goal!”
In order to achieve this purpose, I’ve chosen a particular stock illustration as the central part of the design, not only for the vibrant colors, but also because it gives a very informal appearance. This can lead to attract the attention of a specific audience that identifies itself with the theme of this book.")

The concept for the 2023 coffee mug is: “Whatever the challenge, the Pros There team is always Number One!”
From installing security cameras, door access systems, low voltage cables, networks, phone systems, or simply finding solutions to fix all hardware and software problems, the team works so well… that even all those products get surprised by the efficiency. 😀
This is just a way to, once again, congratulate the team, motivating them to maintain the same quality and work ethic next year.
The central image and logo are repeated on both sides of the mug, allowing anyone who holds it with their right or left hand to have exactly the same view.
The base color chosen for this new mug is a strong Cyan, not only because it creates impact, but also to allow a good contrast with the Red of Pros There Logo.")

It includes several challenges for children within the same theme as the story.
As this is the first activities book that the author wants to release, the first part of the project was to create a graphic line that could continue in future publications, keeping the entire series with a consistent image.
The author had already consigned all the illustrations to another artist, which were delivered isolated. This gave me complete freedom to create the interior book layout and add all the necessary details.
The same happened for the book cover, where, in addition to displaying the author’s brand, I wanted to make it perfectly clear that this was also a coloring book, as all the internal illustrations were created as line art only.
This makes this publication not only educational but also fun.")

As the story is set in the North Pole, the author requested a very colorful and wintery atmosphere with vibrant tones of blue and cyan, that could catch the attention of the viewers.
As the book is meant not just for kids but also for their adult family members, it was decided to follow a more realistic approach, instead of a cartoon style.
The three main characters — a giant horse, a cowboy and a small elf — are the focal point of the entire illustration that I created for this cover. This illustration was entirely made in Photoshop, with several versions until it was reached the desired result.
The main challenge was to represent those characters with all the details that were described in the text and still make them appropriate for a children’s audience. The vibrant colors were a big help to achieve that goal.")

“Compulsão”, translated from Portuguese as “Compulsion”, is a book that studies the consumer behavior, as well as advises how to buy in a more conscious way.
Although this is a serious book with a lot of information about the subject, it is also fun. Therefore, the author requested a cartoon style for the illustrations, with vibrant colors, which could transmit that informal and inviting look. These images represent the two main areas within the theme: the compulsion to buy and the compulsion to eat/drink.
As the color Red is mentioned several times in the book, related to the subject studied, it became the obvious choice for the book cover. It also helped to achieve the joyful result that was requested, as well as to catch the attention of the potential readers.")

The illustration symbolizes Pros There IT experts and how quickly they get to wherever they are needed. The funny thing is that all computers/servers fear their arrival, as they can no longer create the usual problems.
In short, this is a joke about how tech devices like to mess up our daily routines and how Pros There experts are the best solution to fix them.
This could be a good message to get across to customers, but in this case it’s a funny way of telling employees that they’re doing a good job, motivating them to continue on that path throughout the year.
I repeated the illustration in both sides, as it gives the possibility to be seen for both right and left-handers. It also allows people to visualize the characters if they are in front of whoever is using the mug, making a good conversation topic during work breaks.")

The Adventure Series: 12 Systems of the Body Workbooks introduces each system of the human body and teaches children about themselves from the inside out.
Each Workbook includes learning pages, activities, games, recipes and also a comic book, whose story is set in a different country and at a different time, with the same group of characters. Adventure 5 is set in Ancient Japan and is about the Digestive System.
The main work of this project was the interior layout and typesetting, following a consistent graphic line that I had initially designed for the entire series.
As some parts were based on a previous workbook, there were already some illustrations. However, I had to create all the others in order to refresh the design and to include the new activities in this book.")

For that, I included the image of a pocket watch, similar to the one that was being used as a chapter symbol in the interior of the book. This way there is always a consistent theme and imagery in the entire book (in the inner and outer zones).
I also wanted to represent the “start of a new day”, not only in a sense of time but also as a new opportunity to be with God, that can be achieved despite the busy life.
The rising sun was a good way to transmit that message and also to give it that “eternal” sense (the sun rises everyday… no matter what). It also helps to give a very positive feeling to the entire design, as being a joyful invitation to join in these daily 100 Minutes of reflection.")

The story takes place from modern day London to the ancient wisdom of China.
The author requested a design that could transmit a relaxed and peaceful feeling, but that could also catch the attention and curiosity of the viewers.
The Yellow Mountains in China was the landscape chosen to illustrate the journey of the book.
The cherry blossom also represents the inner development throughout the entire story.")

My approach was connected with the book's purpose: to be a “gift” for mothers such as Mother's day or their birthday.
Gifts have the objective of making people we care about feel appreciated. So, why not to “wrap” the book to make it look exactly like a gift? This way the intention of sons/daughters is perfectly clear and “visible”, and the joy of moms by receiving it can be even stronger. They would feel that they didn’t just receive a book… but a deserved “gift”.
My idea was also to create a design style that could be suitable for all the ages. With this idea the book can be an offer for a mom with a newborn baby, as well as to an elderly mother that receives this gift from her already adult sons.
As the client requested, I also had in mind that the design should be easily adapted to other members of the family: dad, grandma, grandpa… The idea of “the gift” can be continued, changing colors and some of the elements.")

This place is a world where animals have special powers and communicate between themselves, being distinguished by the color of the crystal stones that they carry on their forehead.
The magical and, at the same time, frightening atmosphere that was given to the forest on the design, reveal the main feelings transmitted throughout the story.")
