This is all above the name of the company in a handwritten style. At the bottom of the bulb, where there would normally be the threaded part (the base of the bulb) there is the nib of a fountain pen. This combination of items associated with many things, such as; innovation (commonly symbolised by a light bulb), Luxury (associated with the fountain pen), versatility (there are few things more useful than a pen) and penmanship (something which is integral to your company and it's products). In the centre of the bulb, still connected via one line, is a wireless signal style shape, which shows one of the key things your company would like to bring to the pen industry. This all sits above the company name, which has been written in a handwritten style, to tie into the theme of a written/drawn logo, rather than a typed one.")

There are two elongated isosceles triangles with the base facing the lettering. This emphasizes the company name. Over top I have a fountain pen drawing a line to reinforce the idea of a pen company. In addition, there is a wireless signal coming from the breather hole in the fountain pen nib. This combines the pen aspect of the company to the technology side of the company.")

I then tried to incorporate something that merges technology, the companies speciality and pens. I tried to go for the hand drawn style, but since I cant quite draw that symmetrically, I used shapes and removed nodes from said shape using the Pen tool. I also used the curve tool for, funny enough, the curves to make a point. I then merged all the shapes together using the pathfinder, followed by removing the shape colour, making the lines black and finally making the stroke 5 points wide. I then created the wireless signal simply by creating circles, then bigger ones and subtracting the first one from the last. three times. Finally I converted it all into to a vector image and Voila!")
